The Passport of the Kingdom of Barotseland is issued in accordance with the Barotseland Passports and Travel Documents Act, No. 103 of 2024, and the Barotseland National Identification and Registration Authority (BNIRA) Act, No. 102 of 2024.
Passports are issued to individuals who qualify under the various citizenship categories provided for in the Barotseland Citizenship (Miscellaneous) Act, No. 297 of 2024, and in alignment with the provisions of the Barotseland Freedom Charter 2024, adopted by the Revolutionary Transitional Sovereignty Council (RTSC) of the Kingdom of Barotseland.
The RTSC was established under the Barotseland Revolutionary Transitional Sovereignty Council Act, No. 5 of 2024, following the enactment of the Barotseland State Reorganisation and National Reforms (SRNR) Office Act, No. 2 of 2024. Its mandate is to ensure that the recommendations and aspirations of stakeholders across all movements are reflected in the national reform process—particularly in the strengthening and modernization of Barotseland’s centuries-old governance systems to meet the present and future needs of society.
NOTE: The 2012 BNC Resolutions are sovereign and must never be trivialised by movements, puppets or beneficiaries of the status quo. The sovereign people of Barotseland spoke, and that is what all sound leaders should focus on actualising. No movement, establishment, or grouping can take the people for granted—not even the Government of the colonising State of Zambia can afford to stop an idea whose time has come. Bribing your puppets, arresting people, intimidation, insults, corruption, hooliganism, and arrogance will never work: for the masses of our people have spoken, and they will never be disrespected anymore, nor will their resolve be traded for money by those imposed cowards and puppets of Lusaka!
We shall defend the legacy of our forefathers to ensure that we are a free, self-governing, and sovereign nation, as we have been since we organically became a nation like any other anywhere in the world. King Mwanawina III's signature and that of King Lewanika wll never be slighted or treated contemptuously anymore.
We are not fighting anyone by claiming our inalienable rights, treaty-protected and globally respected rights. If truth will hurt those treacherous heirs of a mendacious regime that seeks to continue using force to silence the truth and send our innocent many to their early graves, let them die too. Whether there is an army or any system that is rigged against us, we shall live to proclaim the name of the Lord God Almighty, as such a system has never stopped the freedom of any people anywhere in the world.
History repeats itself because of unwise men who refuse to learn from history. No union is indispensable, no matter how tight the constitution or how strong the military force: unions are built on terms and conditions.
Barotseland is our Fatherland, and we will never fail to die for the territory in which our forerunners and sleeping!
